Neighborhood traffic mitigation options to be explored

Our usually quiet streets

Sydney Herndon (4518 Vandelia) has agreed to be the new chair of the Perry Heights Traffic Committee. She has already been in touch with several residents who have expressed interest in finding ways to slow automobile traffic throughout Perry Heights.

Their first order of business will be to meet with City staff to determine which options (e.g. four-way stops, speed limit signs, speed cushions, etc.) the City of Dallas will consider. Based upon that feedback, the committee will survey the neighbors to determine the most desirable alternatives. No formal requests will be made without first gaining the consensus of the community.

Another Craddock Park Cleanup in June

Saturday, June 21 at 8:30am

Kudos to those of you who turned out on May 3 to continue the effort to remove the dead branches, weeds and vines in the Craddock Park tree line adjoining the Tollway property.

We will be at it again on Saturday, June 21st, at 8 am with Shug’s bagels on hand! Bring your tools!

RSVP To: Dominique Oliverie:  domoliverie@aol.com

Please note the earlier start time at 8:30am due to the warmer weather.
